So Koizumi solo exhibition

From November 23 (Saturday) to December 1 (Sunday), 2024, I will be holding my first solo exhibition at the gallery "es quart" in Senzoku, Taito-ku, Tokyo.
SO KOIZUMI DESIGN, established in 2021, celebrates its third anniversary this year. In April, I participated in "ALCOVA MILANO" in Italy for the first time, receiving a great response. In this exhibition, I will showcase pieces like the furniture "Fossilized Future," which imagines a fossilized future as presented at the same event, and a new wind chime, "SEVEN," which incorporates a tensegrity structure. Additionally, previously exhibited furniture, "Polysemy," will also be on display, allowing viewers to see the trajectory of my past works.
The exhibition will also include an installation that harmonizes with the gallery "es quart" space, along with new objects.

Talk Event

During the "So Koizumi Solo Exhibition," we will host a talk event with designer/artist Atsushi Shindo and editor/writer Michiko Inoue, joined by So Koizumi himself.
In the talk event, designers who create and present private works will gather to discuss the meaning and approach behind creating and exhibiting such work. We’ll explore their inner thoughts, and hear candid insights from the media’s perspective on these presentations.
After the talk event, a casual cocktail party will be held. We warmly invite you to join us for this as well.
